Green Bay Small Business Visited by SBA

Published August 13, 2020

SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza visited S & C Machine, a small business in Green Bay, as part of a routine check on businesses that have been awarded PPP loans across the country.

Chuck and Susan Klatkiewicz’s small packaging company was substantially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which knocked down their sales significantly. Many other small businesses have been affected in this way. Luckily, with help from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), these small businesses can get a financial boost (and loan forgiveness, if eligible) that they say has greatly helped them get by.

This and other government programs have served as a lifeline and allowed small businesses to stay open.

87,000 of 5 million forgivable loans that have been approved nationally have been awarded to Wisconsin businesses.
